The Green Hills Regional Planning Commission, based in Trenton Missouri is seeking an Executive Director.
Major programs of the Commission include transportation planning, economic and workforce development, solid waste district management, hazard mitigation, grant administration and a variety of other related efforts. Candidates should have experience in a number of the program areas listed above and demonstrate strong fiscal/ administrative abilities, display professional written and verbal communication skills and have personnel management experience. This position requires frequent attendance at evening meetings within an 11 county rural region and monthly travel to Jefferson City, and occasional out-of-state travel. A Bachelor’s Degree in planning, public administration or related field is preferred, and experience in management, including personnel, programs, board management, budgets and fiduciary matters is required. Salary commensurate on qualifications.
